Other observations
The signature for this painting appears on the wooden wall paneling, in a similar style to "Feeding Time 1890"
If the children are Harry and Edmee's then the older child on the floor is
probably Edgar (a boy!) aged 4 and the child on the floor Oswald (another boy!)
now aged 3. The height of the child on the floor can probably be estimated from
the height of the chair to be at least 8 and possibly 10 or 11, so the above
assumptions on identity are probably wrong, unless the date of painting has
been recorded incorrectly. The signature style is however consistent with it
being one of Harry Brooker's earlier paintings.
